This is training for those that are new to becoming Designated Teachers in Sutton or for a Sutton Child Looked After. This training will ensure you are clear about all legislation and responsibilities related to the education of Looked After and Previously Looked After Children.
- To provide a full update on DfE guidance for Designated Teachers
- To provide an understanding of Sutton Virtual School and how we can support you in your role
- To overview the Graduated Response for Preventing Exclusion
- All Designated Teachers will have a strong understanding of their role for both Looked After and Previously Looked After Children
- All Designated Teachers will know how to gain support from Sutton Virtual School
- All Designated Teachers will understand how the Graduated Response for Preventing Exclusions can be used across all Sutton Schools to support Looked After and Previously Looked After Children
